Remember to look into the Pennsylvania Orphans Court Records when gathering documentations. The records contain a wealth of information. Some of the earliest of the Hinkel's records should be there. Banks, Carbon Co, PA was Lausanne Twp, formerly a part of Northampton Co, PA. At least some of the later records are in the other counties as they were formed.

NORTHAMPTON CO, PA, County seat: Easton:

Located in Archives building behind the jail, has old original wills 1752 to the present, Orphans Court records 1752 to the present, Probate Packets & Files 1752 to the present, estate papers.

Civil court records are 1753 to the present.

Recorders Office-Civil Court records 1753 to the present.
