Hello, Marjorie, I have discovered that I am descended from Johann Justus Henckel. The history is fascinating to me. Is there any possibility that your cousin will transcribe the notes in the Bible about Hinkle's Fort and the work of our ancestors? Might they be available on line?
You and I share lines starting with Anna Hinckle and Moses Ellsworth, Sr. Their son, Jacob, was my 5x great-grandfather.
How long have you been studying your genealogy? I started this September and am finding the process delightful (though sometimes frustrating).
