I see in response to your inquiry that my name was mentioned and it was suggested you go to the message I posted in July 2003. I attemped to find it but couldn't so will repeat some of it, in case you also couldn't find it.
My deceased step-mother was Bessie Ruth Hinkel. Some of the family spelled it Hinkel and others Hinkle. According to Ruth's birth cert. both Jacob and Bessie Schreffler were born in PA, and that he was minor. Ruth was born in Mt.Carmel,PA in 1911 and it shows her address as being 321 S. it looks like it could be Market. Ruth was the youngest of the children. I have a picture of them with Ruth 5, George 6, Dorothy 7, William 8 and Alyce isn't in the picure. There are a few more old pictures and quite a few of people that I don't know which ones are related to her.
