My grandmother was Grace Hinds, younger sister of Simeon M. Hinds, born Feb. 2, 1879. Their father was Ferris Simeon Hinds.
I recently found a newspaper saved by my father who is the son of Grace Hinds/Beam. In that paper, The National Tribune, Washington, D.C., is an article written by Simeon M. Hinds in 1942. The article covers his family line and their participation in all the wars leading back to (and including) the Revolutionary War.
I will be happy to share the article with anyone researching this Hinds family line.
