Just browsing thru the Hindley forum, and your mention of Ontario Hindleys stuck out. My great great grandmother was Margaret Hindley, married to Isaac Anderson in Arthur Township, Wellington County, Ontario, in 1850. Margaret was the daughter of William Hindley and Elizabeth Ingham, both of Warrington, Lancashire, England. William was born 1794, married Elizabeth in 1829, and emigrated to New York, arriving May 22, 1834. William and Elizabeth both died and are buried in McCormick Cemetery, Eramosa, Wellington County, Ontario. William's father was Johnathan Hindley, b. 1770 at Winock, Lancashire, England. Johnathan's wife's name was Margaret ??????? I believe Johnathan and Margaret came over to Ontario as well. If this is your branch and can shed any light on Johnathan and wife Margaret, I would really appreciate it. I'm at a brick wall with these two.
