Wow im so excited to have received your message.
Its been a misery to our family to as even my fathers
brother who is the only one still alive doesnt know
much. I have been trying to find my roots to see
if i could get anestrial visa . I travelled thru
britian in sept 2006 and from then i have being
trying.
I will try to scan the letter of agreement between
my great grandmother and the family who brought up my
grandfather, their surname was Swart very south african.
So my grandfather , Annie's son went by the name of
John Fannon Swart. He married my grandmother her name
was Francis Gertude Van Abo born in south africa in
a place called Frankfort. Her parents where Danish/English.
They married 23 January 1933 in Heilbron that is where
i beleive that Mary Jane was living when Annie came to
south africa. My grandparents had one daughter Dolly,
Hendrik Albertus (My dad) and Johnny. My grandfather
John Fannon Swart died 16 August 1974 he was living
in Johannesburg. My father (Hendrik Albertus - Bertie was
his nickname) married my mother Stella Velma Bosse and they had seven children. Im in the middle .
Do u have any photos of my great grandparents.
It was a misery as to why Annie left and never made
contact as i know my dad never know much of his
past.
I have and awaiting copies from manchester of
birth certificates, married and death certificates
so that i could do some searching but having found
someone who knows of my great grand parents is
just so awesome.
I little about me im 50 years old widow lost my husband
to cancer over 7 years ago and after a wonderful 21 years
of marriage . Have two children son 27 and a daughter 25.
Im single at the moment and live with my kids but they
working for a few months in america.
Awaiting to hear from u and am so grateful for your
time and making contact.
