James HINCH - Irish Convict from Tyrone
I now believe that my James HINCH may have been been a 17 years old convict from Tyrone, convicted c1830 in Dublin for stealing some clothes and transported to Sydney NSW for 7 years. He received his certificate of freedom in 1837 and could well have made his way to Adelaide by 1841 (where he subsequently married an irish immigrant, mary TORRENS).I need to find proof of this theory.
