Lenore: Seeking parents of RHODA HILYARD (15 January 1770 - 17 June 1834). Rhoda was from a New England family and married the son of another New England family, Royal MARSH (28 November 1765 - 26 October 1818). Royal Marsh was the son of Joseph MARSH & Deborah STAPLES of Massachusetts. The twelve children of Rhoda HILYARD & Royal MARSH included:

Permelia b. December 12, 1796 (She married Elihu Murray WASSON)

Rhoda b. May 25, 1804 d. Nov. 26, 1804
Stephen H. b. April 25, 1806 d. May 26, 1806
Evaline b. September 24, 1808 d. June 19, 1845 (She married Henry M. SMITH)
Nelson H. b. November 18, 1810 d. April 27, 1849
Orpha b. May 26, 1814 d. January 31, 1866 (married name is given as Banfield)
Above dates taken from the Family Bible of Rosetta MARSH (b. 3 July 1799).
Hope that you can help me to locate Rhoda HILYARD within the context of her family, very probably in mid-1700s in New England.
