I'm actually researching another family (Jabez Smith) but I think they might be linked. This is what I have on Ebenezer. Let me know what you come across. Alot of these notes I have not pieced together yet, but maybe they will help you. I hope so!

Charles A Smith birth: 22 Jul 1832 Brentwood, New Hampshire death: 12 Apr 1913Wakefield, , Massachusetts parents: Hezekiah Smith 2. Elenor Hilton Smith m: Josiah B. Wiggin. She died May 25, 1915 in Stratham

Ebenezer of Brentwood -probate #12281 (NH Archives) Will Dated June 23 1831; court date published Oct 12 1831;proved Dec 14 1831; Mentions: dau Betty Hodgdon; son Gilman; dau Sally Smith; dau Ann Smith; Son Richard Smith (Exec) son Hezekiah.
An affidavit by James Robinson dated Mar 21 1832 says he lived within 1/2 mile of Eben or 40 years & that Eben's wife died 8 yrs ago & he left no widow. Children living are Betsey wife of Alexander Hodgdon, Gilman Smith, Richard Smith, Hezekiah Smith, sally Smith, Ann Smith & that he had ___ ____ him of her death. No grandchildren or descendants by any child other than those above mentioned, the above named are all his children & that he never had any others, except _____ before his death, died young.

Will dated Dec 31, 1753; proved Apr 11, 1758, wife Susannah rec'd all estate real & personal which she brought to me or had when he married her, and all of his stock, household & personal goods he has at his decease. Mentions sons Nicholas, Robert, Edward & John & 5 daughters: Susannah, Anne, Abigail, Judeth & Mary. Another note mentions Mary was a7 between Mar 1758-Sept 1759; also mentioned son Samuel (born since date of will) was over 14 in 1770 (b: bet 1754-1756)
"Susannah Thurston, formerly widow of dec'd" states "paid my late husband mudgets children for the rent of the place"
Then in the Will & administration of John Mudgett of Brentwood 1746; XXXIII pg 359, NH Provincial Papers - will dated Apr 18 1746; proved May 28, 1746; wife Susannah, Children: (May 29, 1753 Nicholas Smith of Brentwood granted guardianship) of: Benjamin Mudgett, William Mudgett, Simeon Mudgett, edward Mudgett, and Scribner Mudgett, all minors and children of John Mudgett.
Susanah (Scribner) Mudgett is mentioned in her father's will, John Scribner of Exeter 1735 XXXII pg 565.
Note: "Keenborough" was the original name of Brentwood.
