I don't know about a website but I did come across the Edward Hilton family of Rockingham in a book while at a genealogical library. In the book Abstracts of the probate records of Rockingham County, NH, 1771-1799 / Helen F. Evans, published in 2000, there is an abstract of the will of Edward Hilton (d. 1776).I believe you are interested in the daughter Betty who married John Smart. Two of the witnesses to Edward's will which was drawn in June 1776 were Josiah Smart and Nanne Smart.Betty Smart is called a daughter. The probate documents extend all the way to 1792.In a 1791 citation Betty Smart is referred to as a "Newmarket widow".She was asked "to appear and be examined under oath regarding the concealing, embezzling, or conveying away any of the est. of her late father."She was examined and the abstract states "she swears she knows nothing of concealment of papers by anyone else and did not do so herself."There is later on (I think in the same book but I only have the photocopied page) an abstract of genealogical data taken from a small book owned by Edward Hilton and kept on by his daughter Love Pickering. It lists the dates of birth of all his children viz:Josiah, Friday night, Nov. 6, 1724; Elizabeth b. July 8, 1727, died Sept. 22, 1728; Ed, b. Aug. 30, 1730; Betty b. Aug. 30, 1733; Mary, b. Jan. 14, 1739; Martha b. Sept. 12, 1743 and died Aug. 25, 1752; Anna born and died Aug. 18, 1752; Love b. Jan. 24, 1752.Edward Hilton, the father died Tuesday morning June, 1776 and Elizabeth died Dec. 20, 1786.I have given the modern spellings of the names.Hope this helps.
