Hi Pauleta, Yes, I am still very interested in James Hillyard - his ancestors and descendants. I was very excited to get your message and know that someone else is actively researching him also. Below is some of the information that I have on Mary Milson Dillon. I had corresponded several years ago with a descendent of hers and got some of this information. I will be happy to share any information that I have on James Hillyard, Catherine Bollinger and their descendants, but I am finding it difficult to put it in this genforum. I think it would be easier to email it to you. I have the same children as you, but they had one more, a son (finally) James Hillyard Jr. born in 1858. I think Catherine Bollinger died in child birth or shortly after because James Hillyard Sr. married again (Sarah Palmer, a widow) on 14 Nov. 1858. Yes, you are right in that I am a descendant of Louis Scoval Stiles and Kate Hillyard. They had 8 children and their youngest was named after Mike Dillon. My uncle's name was Michael Dillon Stiles, b. 25 Jan 1892. Do you have any idea where James Hillyard Sr. was buried. I would love to find a will or probate for him. Looking forward to hearing from you, Lauretta Korenek jlkorenek@aol.com Descendants of Rebecca P. Hillyard 1Rebecca P.
