My GG Grandfather was William Henry Hills b. 1839 in New York state and moved to Iowa. He was in the Civil War serving with Company B. 22nd Regiment Iowa Infantry. He died in Iowa City in 1910 but is buried in Arkansas City, KS where he had moved.

He married Mary Watts in Iowa City in 1861.

My biggest mystery is when and why he went to Iowa around 1860.

Good luck!
