I am interested in your posting, as my gr- gr- gr- grandfather is Thomas Hillock from County Armagh, Ireland. He brought his family (including second wife, Mary (Brown) Hillock, and offspring Henry, Thomas, Mary Ann, Rachel) to the U.S. in 1831. Their trail includes Va and OH, where Mary Ann married Thomas B. Stanley in April 1844.
It is thought that Thomas Hillock's father was William Hillock, and that Mary Brown was born in Scotland.
