Around 1796, James Hillock his brother, Edward and sister Sarah, who married John Mitcheltree, came to what is now Nicholas, Co. KY. Don't know where they came from, I guess it may have been PA. Edward didn't stay in Nicholas Co. for very long. Don't know where he went, maybe Fayette. Is there a Edward Hillock in your tree? Or is there a William Hillock before 1800 in your tree? It's hard to believe another family of Hillocks lived in KY in 1800 and not be related. Have you ever heard of a Jess Hillock? I found him in that part of KY and can't place him to mine. I know he is related but don't know how. Let me what you find and I will do the same.
