Hi Robert,
I looked over my 1,500 names and found just 3 Hughes.
I think they may from the IGI so you may have the most likely one.
Hugh Hillock born at Clones Monaghan N.I. ? when ? 1703 onwards
Married Mary Adams 8th April 1724.
2nd Hugh Hillock born abt 1848 married Elizabeth Fegan abt 1868 Ravensdle,Louth,Scotland. Hope that this is of some help.
Our roots are in Armagh N.I. 3 brothers settled in 3 different counties in N.I. originally from Dumfries scotland.
Wait on I'll be back I think one of them was Hugh.
