William (b. Aug 10, 1865) was the 6th of 9 children born to Margaret (Maggie) Grant and Edward Hillman, who was the son of George Hannold Hillman, youngest son of Samuel Ashbrook Nicholson Hillman (a Rev War soldier) who descended from John Hillman (d 1729 Gloucester Co., NJ) and Margaret (Collins) Ward through their son Daniel Hillman and his wife Elizabeth Ashbrook. Per Evergreen cemetery information - William G. Hillman (fireman) died at age 41 on 3/16/1906 and was buried on the 20th. Cause of death: accident (fire). Location: Section O, lot 25, Grave 2. No headstone.

William Grant Hillman died unmarried and without issue. While William did have 8 siblings it is unknown if there are descendants of those siblings living today.

William's uncle (his father's second youngest brother) was Charles S. Hillman who DOES have living descendants.
