Hillman-Pruett Connection: Hello Anna, my name is Lajuan Pruett Boyle and I am at my wits end trying to find Hillman Pruett. His son-Samuel Pruett born ca l833 Ga. According to family hstory, the family moved to Claiborne Parish La at an early date and I have only found Samuel on one paper when a child was born in Limestone Co Tex (while on their way to Milam Co Tx. I am wondering if Hillman Pruett might have been named Hillman from his mother's side (perhaps she was a Hillman). Supposedly they org in NC, and ended up in La. Hillman supposedly fought in the War with MEx and Hillman could be a middle name. I have no clues. In Claiborne Parish La, someone on the internet said that a Georgia Hillman m Wm V Pruett (I can't find any proof of that). Also in Claiborne Parish La, was ABSOLOM S HILLMAN who owned some land in Bossier. Help, Thanks, Lajuan
