I believe we are researching the same family. John Hillman and his parents and children emigrated in either 1830 or 1831 to Canada. I have found some info which suggests that he was the son of George Hillman and Susanna Browne. He married Isabella May and they had 13 children. My step father is their great grandson through their son John D. Hillman. I would be interested in corresponding with you. Please reply privately to ember@xcelco.on.ca
