My great grandmother was Margaret Hillman b. 1850 in Bangor, Maine. She married John Kent Hubbard of New Brunswick, Canada. They moved to Menominee, Michigan and had four children: Pascoe Margaret, John Kent Jr., Benjamin Appleby and Fannie.
Her sisters were Ellen, Sarah Jane and Fannie Hillman.
The only other information I have is a Psalms of David published in 1855 in Scotland with the inscription: To Mrs. Samuel (?) Hillman from her brother Robert Kent, October 8th 1868 (?).
Do any of these names sound familiar? Could Samuel Hillman have been her father and his wife's maiden name been Kent?
