HI David,
I show that brothers Robert Hillis, Sampson, John (Pension records shown as John Hiles #S31125)and my ancestor Samuel Hillis, Jr.(Pension #S2314) did fight in the Revolutionary War.
I do not see where Sampson or Robert ever applied for a Rev. War pension I think because both had died prior to the Congress passing the pension law. However, the National Archives would have Robert's military records.
