Hello there Sir,

I have good news. If you give me all your info on Hugh Hilles right down through the generations to yourself (as fully as possible), I will give you the much harder part, of working right back from Hugh.

The name Hilles is the same line as Hillis...n fact there are a few Hillas families too. Not all are the same line, but the Hilles and Hillis families mostly are.

I am from Ulster...Northern Ireland. I live only miles from the Hillis original homeplace.

We have quite a history. If you can get your tree to me, that would help me with the Hugh Hilles (Hillis) connection, who travelled to America in the early 1700s. Hughs brother (at least one, stayed in Ulster as he had been granted lands for outstanding miltary service. That is my line. However the line goes further back than 1700s. I am resarching very positive links bringing us back to late 1400s or early 1500s.

Email me when you get a chance.

Colin Hillis
