On reading your message it occurred to me that you may have the wrong County. There is Banbridge in County Down where there are many Hillis records. ( There may be Bambridge but i have not read of it) one of them was a John Hillis, b abt 1830.The names William Joseph and John are prolific within our family. We have connections with Dublin, Down,Monaghan, Cavan and Wexford all of which are in Ireland. A Joseph Hillis lived around 1890s in Dublin and there are still family there.
