Good Morning,

I am researching on the "Reynolds" family of Sanilac County, MI. My line is Arnold and Mary (Thomas) Reynolds.

I am seeking to understand if Nelson Reynolds b.1839/MI & who married Sarah Jane Hilliker, if he is the son of James and Lydia Reynolds who came from Canada and found living in Worth Twp, Sanilac Co, MI in 1850? Cannot locate neither a James or Lydia after that census in the states.

I know that on Nelson's death record is stated father as "Alfred", but might that be a middle name, re; James Alfred? Just a thought as I found Nelson living in Worth in 1850 in the home of James and Lydia Reynolds, appears to have been their son...and this is the same township in which my "Reynolds" family came to live in, once removing from Ontario Canada.

Any help would be most appreciated. Also, too, I found a James Reynolds along with Isaac Reynolds living on same lot and concession in Pickering Ontario in 1837, again, the same town as my Arnold Reynolds who was born circa 1792/95 of New York State.

Michelle
