I posted in haste, here is the most detailed information I have:
Matthew Hillier b. 10/1851 in Canada m. Alzina/Alvina Barker b. 9/1861 in Canada d. 12/28/1949 in Amsterdam, NY. They were married in 1879 and in 1893 emigrated to the US. On the 1900 census the whole family is listed in Rockton NY but in the 1920 census Alzina is listed as head of household, Matthew is gone and the family is living in Amsterdam NY. I believe Alzina worked at the Mohawk Carpet Mills. their children are as follows:
Roy b. 6/1880 Canada
Forest b. 6/1885 Canada d. 1905 of TB
Herbert b. 4/1882 Canada d. ca. 1950s Johnsontown NY m. Elizabeth Chubb, had son George b. 1904
Ethel b. 12/1883 Canada m. Frederic Link d. Schenectady NY
Edith M. (Ada) b. 12/1889 Canada had daughter Dorothy Hillier b. 12/17/1907 Amsterdam NY (father may have been Charles Booth) m. 1911 Leland Ladd
Robert b. 7/1888 Canada d. 1920 of TB
Raymond b. 11/1994 NYS d. 1913 of TB
Helen (Nellie) b. 1/1898 NYS d. 1917 of Bright's disease
