HILLIER HUBERT born GILLINGHAM DORSET/Wilts border

I may have found my grandfather on the 1901 census, although as no-one knew where he came from or of any relatives, I cannot be sure. So far I have been unable to trace his marriage to my Grandmother Maud Louise HILLIER (nee Harper)from Hitchin, Herts area. The census details are as follows and I would be grateful if anyone can shed further light on the family.
My Grandfather was according to his death certificate, HUBERT JOHN HILLIER,died 27/04/1933, aged 49, in Southampton.
The only likely Hubert Hillier I can find on the 1901 census was working as a helper in a mineral water factory in Gillingham Dorset, which is near the Wilts border. He was aged 16 living at Chanbry, Gillingham with his parents THOMAS HILLIER(40)a gardener and HANNAH HILLIER (45) and siblings EVELINE (14), PERCY (12) and ALICE(10). I have found a marriage between a THOMAS HILLIER and HANNAH MARIA PHILLIPS, which could be my great grandparents in SEP qtr 1882 in Yeovil.
Thanks a lot Jean
