My grandfather was William Hillier. My ggg grandfather was John Hillier who arrived in South Australia aboard the barque Lloyds in 1838. He was accompanied by his wife Rebecca (Maggs), two children and his brother, James, and his family. Go to First Families 2001 (Australia) to get a in depth information on the Hillier family. Also, we have traced the family to Wiltshire, England, where the family seems to have originated.
