Hello!
George W. Hilliard was a brother of my great-great grandmother, Tempie (Hilliard) Flowers (1830 - 1899). They are both buried in what used to be the Whitewater Methodist Church cemetery (now Bethlehem Baptist Church), which is located about 4 miles from where I live. Unfortunately, Uncle George Hilliard's grave is un-marked, but I know he is buried there (in the same grave with his wife so we have always been told).

I recall seeing an old newspaper article dated in the 1880's telling about the visit of George M. Hilliard of Texas to his Pike County, Alabama relatives.

Just thought I'd touch base with you!

John Johnston (age 62)
