Hello HILLHOUSE researchers. I'm very excited to become a volunteer coordinator for a HILE/HIES/HYLES/HILLHOUSE surname DNA study. You can read more about DNA studies at these two web addresses:
www.familytreedna.com and www.ancestry.com/genetics But, don't sign up under either of those because the prices are more expensive there. By me becoming a volunteer coordinator, we will get a price break. The price for a 12-marker test will be $99. For those of us who have been researching HILES/HYLES/HILE/HILLHOUSE for a long time and keep hitting road blocks, I think this is an outstanding opportunity. Remember, the participant must be a male descendant with the HILES/HILLHOUSE (or variation) surname, the older the generation, the better. If you are interested or want more info, please contact me at karengen@yahoo.com. Also, please pass this along to any researchers you know of who are working on similar surnames (Hile; Hales; Hillis; Hyles, etc). For those of you working on HILLHOUSE/HILES out of Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Canada, New Jersey, Tennessee, I think this is an outstanding opportunity to see if you are all related! If we need to do a test with more markers later, we can do that (it costs slightly more to add to it), let's start with this and see how much we can all piece together!
