Hello Linda,

My Hillary's are from the Ballinasloe area of County Galway,Ireland. They lived there in the 1820's through about 1900, or so. Where they came from prior to 1820 I do not know. We have some data that shows some Hillary's, [we don't know if they were ancestors] were in Dublin in the late 1700's. Our two sisters emigrated to the US - New York and California. One of the brothers joined the British Army in India. The other was a school teacher in Ballinasloe until the early 1900's.
