Bessie,

Am restarting my genealogy research after about 15 years and found your request for information on Annie Hiller.

Annie appears to be the sister of my husband's grandmother. Annie was born about 1869 and married 23 April 188 W. J. Byars in Jackson County, Illinois.

Annie was the daughter of Thomas & Mary A. (Hanson) Hiller. Thomas was born 6 May 1842 in Jackson Co, IL a son of Peter J. & Jane (Etherton) Hiller. Thomas died 9 March 1895 in Jackson Co. Illinois. He and Mary were married on 23 January 1868 in Jackson County.

Thomas and Mary had the following children:
1. Annie
2. Harriet Hiller, b. 3 May 1871; d. 26 July 1873
3. Nora Ellen Hiller, b. abt 1875; d. abt 1905. She married James Wright.
4. John Hiller, b. 4 March 1880 in Jackson Co., IL. Married Emma Rebecca Stuty 18 August 1902 in St. Clair Co., IL; He d. 5 May 1945 in Erick, Beckham Co., OK
5. Myrtle Jane Hiller, b. 30 June 1885 in Jackson Co; married 9 Nov 1902 in St. Clair Co, IL to John Marion Jetton. Myrtle d. 18 July 1977.

John and Myrtle are the grandparents of my husband.

I do have additional information on the Hiller family back to NY. Any info you have on Annie would be appreciated.

Thanks. Kay
