In 1918, four members of the Hillcoat family were murdered on a remote ranch in the northen Mexican state of Coahuila by bandits. The story follows the peripatetic life of Frederick Hillcoat, led from Texas and Coahuila to Argentina, Australia, Canada and Great Britain, but all roads ended in a lonely grave in the Sierra Encantada. A book in now available.
