Hillcoats in Nova Scotia, 1800-1900's

Im just starting some geneaology of my family tree. My mother is a Hillcoat, but unfortuneately her father died when she was very young, and my grandmother did not know her husband's family very well (they lived across Canada from each other). This is the little bit we do know. My Grandfather's name was Horace B. Hillcoat from amhurst, Nova Scotia, Canada. We dont have his parents names, but we do know that his father made pianos in the late 1800's to early 1900's and owned Hillcoat piano's (later sold to Amhurst Pianos) in amhurst.
If anyone has any information concerning Hillcoats in the Nova Scotia area, it would be greatly appreciated.
