According to a conversation I had with my father, Adeline Mary Deshaw(DeChampes), my great grandmother was an illegitimate child. Her mother Mary Deshaw had worked in a hotel in Canada and became pregnant by John (Alonzo or) Anzlow. Adeline was born May 09, 1880 in Ellis Canada. Mary Deshaw later married a man by the name of Hillard and moved to Caro,Mi., 11 months after Adeline was born. Adeline was an only child!
Adeline married Fredrick James Bodrie Nov 24, 1896. Does anybody have any info on Mary Deshaw Hillard. Thank you.
