My Gr-Gr-Gr-Gr Grandfather was Guyas Alexander Hillard. He was born mid 1700. As per my Great Uncle, bed to Ireland to born in Scotland, moved to Ireland to escape Religious Persecution, then came to America. My Great Uncle stated that he came to America early enough to have served in the Revolutionary War, but my Uncle does not state that he did serve, nor can I find any proof of that.
As per my great uncle he married Margaret Morrison who he stated was Irish. I am tring to determine Margaret's Parents. I have found Guy Hilliard in the 1790 census in Chester County Pa. My Uncle indicated that they lived in Lancaster PA before moving to Venango.
Also any help on Guyas Alexander Hilliard's parents etc would be helpful.
