I recently visited the Cincinnati Library and found the following information.
Mercer County, KY Records Vol II
Loose Bonds and Consents 1786-1835
page 296 of the volume
Henry Holland to Martha Hooper with Jordan Hooper as surety,Dec 6, 1832
John Hooper certified that his sister was of age

The "Washington, Mercer, Anderson Co KY Mortality Schedules" (1850-1880) lists Martha Hillard's death at age 73 in Washington county, KY with parents named as Joseph and Nancy Hooper, both born in VA.

I hadn't considered "Holland" as a potential misspelling of Hillard. Guess I will from now on.
