I've posted a bunch of replies all over this message board, since there were bits of info scattered all over. I'm hoping to consolidate some of that, and get some collaboration in return?
Our genealogy says Jesse Hilliard, born 1798, d 1787, came from England. Wife was Ann Ford, born 1802, also from England. (We think) Children: Nancy, Elizabeth, Jacob, John Layfayette, Patsy, Jesse P., Ezekiel, and Wesley. Possibly "M. Wesley," but noone's sure.
I'm of John L.'s (b 1834, d 1908)line: married Harriet Lemon in Polk County, TN. Children: William Newton, George Washington, Jefferson Davis, Columbus Taylor, Robert Meggs, Margaret Ann Allie Josephine (Josie), John Winslow, Lee C., Charles L, William Isaac, and Harvey.
William Newton's line: married Laura Alice Rosser. Children: Marvin Edgar, Mary, Ann, Taylor, Horace, Will, Marvin, and Earl Benjamin (Pete).
Marvin Edgar married Mary Virginia Earls (Molly). Children:
Newton Edgar, Bishop Marvin, Nellie Mae, Richard Roland, Mary Virginia, and my grandmother, Rose Ella. He had other children by Prudence Evelyn: Frank Wiley, Frances Evelyn, William Harley, Margie Alice, Bobby Gene, Alice Faye, and Donald Lee.
If anyone can fill in some gaps, or tell me for sure where Jesse came from, who his father was, or if anyone needs information I might have, please let me know.
