I am brother of Ian, also posted on this site, I have two sons Jake Charles, and Lewis James.
My father has been interested in the genealogy of his family and has been able to trace back to the 18th century and Shepton Mallet, a small village in Somerset England.
he has come across a family "birthmark", which appears on some of the living members of the family, it is a small red mark at the back of the neck. I understand this is not uncommon, and is oftne called a stork mark, so it may be a red herring (excuse the pun!). My son Jake Charles is the fifth consecutive generation to take the name Charles, although the name Walter occurs frequently also.
If anybody out there has a lots of money and no heirs then please feel free to contact me!
