Not sure if this family is related, but...

John Hill b. 1620 d. 1677 m. Susannah Clark d. 1662 (England); Susannah appears to be a daughter of Robert Clark and Rachel Wooten, and to have had a sister named Rachel who married John Warfield.
-John b. 1642 d. 1646
-Susan b. 1643 d. Young
-Anthony Hill b. 1644
-Elizabeth Hill b. 1646 d. 1650
-Richard Hill b. 1649, immigrated to Maryland
-Robert Hill b. 1650 d. 1697 in Charles County, MD; m. Mary Shaugh
-Elizabeth Hill b. 1651
-Susan Hill b. 1652
-Charles Hill b. 1653, immigrated to Maryland
-William Hill b. 1654, immigrated to Maryland
-Mary Hill b. 1656
-Rachel Hill b. 1661
-Anne Hill b. 1662

Robert Hill m. Mary Shaugh/Shaw
-Robert Hill
-John Hill
-William Hill
-Thomas Hill (maybe Thomas Phillip Hill)
-Catherine Hill
-Henry Hill b. 1693 Charles, MD, d. 1773 Frederick, MD, m. Ann Truman
-Joseph Hill

Henry Hill m. Ann Truman
-Robert Hill m. Rachel Robey
-Joseph Isaac Hill
-Henry Truman Hill
-Phillip Hill
-Thomas Hill
-Elizabeth Hill
-Catherine Hill
-John Hill
-Ann Hill

I highlight this family because the names Susannah and Rachel are important in it, as well as John. It's possible we descend from Richard, Robert, Charles, or William Hill. I'm not sure of John Hill and Susannah Clarke's other sons survived childhood. Just tossing that idea out there.

The most definitive yes-or-no answer to the Isaac Hill theory would be in the will of Isaac Hill or of Margaret Jennings, who might have married Josias Randle/Randall/Randolph in her which case, the will of Josias Randle could also show us the answer. Not either of these ever made a will, though, or if such wills survived the fire.
