See photo of property document dated 20 January 1832 on website
http://www.familychest.co.uk/default.htm (use surname search). It concerns:

Joseph HILL of Bromsberrow, Gloucestershire. Labourer.
Thomas WEBB of Ledbury, Herefordshire. Esquire.
James GREGG of Ledbury, Herefordshire. Gentleman.

The document begins by reciting an Indenture of 1822 in which Joseph Hill mortgaged property in Bromsberrow, Gloucestershire, to Thomas Webb (the father of the one listed above - now deceased - then of Berrow, Worcestershire). Joseph Hill has since borrowed a further £50 from the two Thomas Webbs, and the total now owing is £74/3/-d.

The mortgage is now being assigned to James Gregg, and at the same time increased to £80.

A note on the back dated 3 February 1835 is a receipt by James Gregg for £90 paid by Edward Lane of Redmarley Dabitot, Worcestershire, to clear the debt then owing. He is then re-assigning the mortgage to Edward Lane.

The separate slip of paper is an acknowledgment that Joseph Hill borrowed a further £2 from Edward Lane on 9 February 1835. This slip is signed by Joseph Hill, John Hill and William Hill.

The property mortgaged consists of a cottage with a garden, and half an acre on the West side of Caison Hill, surrounded on all sides by Malvern Chase.
