Is anyone else researching the HILL family from Dundee, Angus and nearby?I've traced my line of the family as follows:
John HILL (Occupation Mason Journeyman) married Elizabeth LOW (dates unknown).
They had at least one child:
David HILL, bap. 2 Jan 1813, Liff, Benvie & Invergowrie; died 7.20am, 21 Nov 1879, Lochee; cause of death: Irritative fever from lacerated wound, 1 month.
Occupation: Mason Journeyman
Resided: Whorterbank, Lochee, Angus
Married: Margaret HALLIBURTON (b. 24 Jul 1811, Lochee, daughter of George HALLIBURTON and Margaret BATCHELOR) on 4 Jul 1835, Liff, Angus.
John HILL and Margaret HALLIBURTON had at least four children:
1. George Hallyburton HILL, b. 12 Oct 1835, Liff, Angus
2. John HILL, bap. 12 Feb 1837, Liff, Angus.Occupation: Stone Mason.Resided 1881: 16, Loons Road, Lochee, Dundee, Angus.Married Phillis MASON, 22 Jul 1859, Dundee, Angus.Phillis MASON and John HILL had at least eight children:

4. Ann HILL, b. 5 Jul 1846, Liff, Angus.Occupatin: Steam Loom Weaver.Married James McGregor TOSH (b. 1841, Dundee, son of James TOSH and Margaret MCGREGOR), 29 Dec 1865, Dundee, Angus.
Ann HILL and James McGregor TOSH were my GG Grandparents.I am trying to discover who John HILL and Elizabeth LOW's parents were, and also to learn more about their descendants.Always grateful for any information, and happy to share data!
