Pat,
I must disagree that Fielding Hill (1791-1845)of Warren Co, GA is the son of Henry and Obedience Walker Hill.Fielding Hill (b. 1791 - I have seen the family bible and made photocopy)was the son of Thomas and Phoebe Brantley Hill of Warren Co, GA.He married Isabella Gibson 1812 and Gracy McMath Hillman in 1834. He is named and inherited from both grandfathers, Phillip Brantley and Richard Hill, and his grandmother, Frances Hill.He is also named in records of his great-grandfather, Thomas Hill, in Halifax Co, NC.
Fielding Hill (1805-1889), son of Henry and Obedience Hill, died in Kaufman Co, Texas and is buried in Elmo, TX.1830 Monroe Co, GA census shows Henry & Obedience with 3 sons; 1840 Monroe Co, GA census shows Obedience (widow) still with 3 sons.In 1846 Fielden Hill is listed on Panola Co, TX Tax List.1850 Panola Co, TX census has Obedience 67 with son "Freelding"? (Fielding) age 42, GA and son Henry, age 37 GA, and daughter, Rebecca, age 21 GA.Son Wiley married 1843 and on his on.Obedience is still in Panola Co in 1860.
What evidence have you found that our Fielding (b. 1791 - d.1845 in Warren Co, GA)is a son of Henry??
