My Grandmother was Sarah Ellen Hiles and married Benjamin Franklin Bradford and they had a Charles Hiles living with them in the 1880 census along with their other children--
Sarah's father was Jackson Hile born 1835 and died in 1902--his father was John Hile Jr. 1788 to 1875 and his father was John Hile Sr 1752 to 1822--all these were located in the McCuney Station area of Perry County Ohio from about 1800 ---I believe James was a brother of Jackson Hiles James was born in 1840 according to my information there may also bre another James Hiles in the same area?
