Looking for parentage of Joseph Hiler who married Martha, (AKA Patsey), Tiffin, Jul 24, 1804 in Pittsylvania Co., VA.
She was the daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth Tiffin. Thomas was a Rev. War vet having served from Caswell Co., NC. He appeared on a Pittsylvania County pensioners list around 1835.
Joseph and Patsey both died in 1853. She in Jan. and he in Nov. His will was probated in that month.
They had five sons and five daughters that I can account for to date.
