Linda:
I also have seven children listed for Aaron and Sarah Holliday Hiler-for my query I only listed those that might have desendants. I have Thomas Walter Hiler b. Nov 13, 1873. According to his daughter, Thelma, Willie was always known as Will (even though he is listed as Willie in Sarah Elizabeth Holliday Hiler's Bible) My grandfather's name was Creggie (Creg or even Craig) not Greggie.

Thelma's father, Will Hiler, told yer that his father, Aaron, was raised by Judith. After Martha Hiler died in 1846, the children were scattered among relatives and that Judith lived with the Rockefeller family. (There is some connection between the Rockefeller family and the Whitney family) She worked for them at their inn from when she was 12 until she married John Rockefeller Raymond. They lived in Franklin Co., Indiana. They moved to Muscatine and on to Kansas.

Abraham Hiler remarried and the last time the family saw him was in Van Buren Co., Iowa when my grandfather, Creg was born. That would be in 1882 and he would have been 74 at that time. It is said that he was going to visit his daughter, Judith, who lived in Republic Co., KS at that time. Do you have any details on this? Do you know where Abraham Hiler is buried? Do you know what happened to Martha Jane Hiler b. March 1846 m. Andrew Caldwell? She was Martha Whitney Hiler's last child.
Hope you can fill in a few of the gaps for me. Good to find family.
Thanks, Diana
