Lona, I am also looking for the parents of Margaret Hiler. I believe that Margaret had three sisters living in Dekalb County, Al at one time. Susannh Emaline Roberts, Matilda Hiller Parker, and Leathy Hiler Parker. She also had several brothers living there. Most of them served in the Florida War and were given land for serving in Mississippi. One of the older boys gave his place of birth as Virginia. The others all gave North Carolina as their birth place.
