Fellow Heilman/Hileman Researchers,
On Ancestry.com is a book A HISTORY OF WEISENBERG CHURCH, front cover 225th anniversary ,Weisnenburg Church, New Tripoli,Penna.,,1976
In this book I found that CHRISTIAN's wife,MARGARETHA ELISABETHA BECKER, was a sponsor of baptism to a grandchild.born to their daughter , MARIA MARGARET,BN 1737.married to JOHANN GEORGE EHRENHARDT
p.26:
Parents: Johann Jurg Ehrenhardt Maria Margaretha, nee HEYLMANN
Issue:Johannes bn Feb.25,1765-bap.Mar 1,1765
Sponsors: Johannes Ehrenhard,Grandfather, and MARGARET ELISAABETH HEYLMANN, GRANDMOTHER

So,is it just s folk tale that she was washed overboard on trip to America? This record seems to confirm that she was alive well after trip.
Any thoughts?
Georgia Hileman Halloran
