Later John & Pearlie were married. { this is confusing to some as Pearlie had first married to Rufus Wylie , the son of Nancy , and after the death of Rufus and then of Nancy , John married Pearlie. He was reared in this County, having come from Kentucky with his parents while quite a small boy, before the War, who settled on the farm now owned by M W Younger, Northwest of town. Mr. Wiley was a brother-in-law of R. B. Moore and Jesse Martin, who live near Melissa and an uncle by marriage to Gene Martin and Mrs. Jim Barnett of this city. He had many friends in this city and over the county where he is well known and highly respected and esteemed by all. He is survived by a wife , and one daughter Miss Lottie, to whom the Dailey Courier and The Democrat join other friends in extending sympathy.
