Northampton Co., PA Hileman's

Hi,
I am in the process of conducting a detailed and thorough search of all records to discover and identify all Hileman's/Heilman's and other spellings, of Northampton Co., PA 1800 and before.

I am doing this as the Hileman line of Huntingdon appears to have originated in Northampton County in the mid 1700's. I am focusing first on Christian Hileman’s, as this man was the patriarch of the rest who migrated to York and Huntingdon Counties c 1790. There were several Christian's but I am particularly focusing on the Christian Hileman that was a member of the Northampton or York Co., Pa Militia. He was killed Dec 1776 leaving at least one orphaned son, Michael Hileman, who was raised by Christian’s brothers.

I hope to end up with a very good, detailed and documented record of Northampton Hileman's when I am finished.

If you have any Northampton Hileman’s you would like me to look out for, please let me know. If you any information on any Northampton PA Hileman's that you would be willing to share, I would appreciate that also.

Thanks
Hal Hileman
