I'm trying to determine when my ggrandfather, David Hile died and where he is buried. I have him listed in the 1920 Federal Census in Sheridan Township, Mecosta County, Michigan. I cannot locate him in the 1930 Census. Is this too wide of a gap to ask the clerk to check records in Mecosta County? Can someone give me some advice on how further to determine this?
