John Heil, age 54, was found in the 1850 census of Warren Co., VA. In the household was wife Margaret. age 57, dau Mary A. age 22, dau Margaret, age 20 and Mary T. Grubbs, age 63. All were born in Virginia.
In the 1870 census of Warren Co., VA I find Mary A. Keeler, age 42 as HOH with 3 Keeler children along with Mary Grubb, age 82. Mary Grubb had this notation "in this family".
Would appreciate any information regarding the HEIL, KEEKER and GRUBB/GRUBBS families.
I suspect Joseph M. Keeler, above, might be the one who married Sarah Vance McCauleu in 1882 but need proof. Also would like to know name of husband and father of the above Keeler persons.
